I hear adsense is very sensitive and its get banned very easily if you violate any TOS. Lot of people complain for this. Clicks bank , CJ and Bidvertiser is better than adsense according to me. Because there is very low chance to get ban or disable. THIS IS MY PERSONAL OPINION. IF YOU HAVE BETTER OPINION, FEEL FREE TO SHARE IT. Thanks.
definitely is the best. alot of pple are abusing adsense, thats why there's a good chance of getting banned, but that's what make it good.
i think it depend on niche...if your niche website has a high cpc like 'credit card debt' or 'health insurance' with $3-$5 on each adsense click, it'll be much better than clickbank that only give you money when you make sales...
Clinkbank is good to have on the side as another source of revenue and a good back up just in case Big G ban you from the adsense program... JulieV
You are comparing two different things.. Adsense is PPC (pay per click); meaning that a visitor need only click an ad for you to earn Clickback (and CJ) are PPA (pay per action); meaning that a visitor must DO something, usually BUY something (although maybe just fill out a form) before you earn anything. In general, PPC is easier to generate income because ANY visitor can click an ad - however each click is usally only pennies. For PPC, Adsense is generally the best. PPA (CJ, Clickbank) can earn far more per action, but you will get many fewer "actions" (conversions).. If you have a site where people come looking for free myspace layouts or something like that, you will probably never get a PPA payout - but, if you have a site that people come to get information on domain hosting, you will probably get a lot of PPA payouts.. anyway, it's good to diversify amongst multiple PPC AND PPA networks - never put all of your eggs in one basket. I use Adsense, YPn, Kontera, AND CJ, Clickbank, and Plimus.. I also have accounts with Adbrite, Chitika, Bidvertiser and others.. To answer your question: for most websites, Adsense is better as far as ease of earnings and amount of earnings.
Clickbank is a Marketplace that pays affiliates if they refer a visitor to a merchant which results in a sale. No sale = no money. The positives here is that the % commission is very high and it's not uncommon to generate $30-40-50 + from a sale. Adsense pays per click and shares a % of that revenue from the advertiser with the publisher ( i.e. you ) so they are two different things as Tearabrite has already pointed out. Dean
I think of adsense as the foundation of a website's revenue stream. It is like having a few hens that lay eggs everyday - steady, but often low revenue. Of course, some days the hens (adsense) lay a lot of extra eggs. Most of my sites also promote a clickbank (or Amazon or CJ) product. These are the crops that come in once in a while, but I make more money all at once when they do come in. If you are just publishing content websites and that is your main focus - then both adsense and clickbank should be used. Adsense gets revenue from the general visitor and clickbank (if placed right) gets the more focused visitor to a particular page or keyword combo.
adsense and clickbank , that's good combination to make money online , the most important is how to drive more visitors to your site , the basic needs of all online business is a traffic
clickbank is far better than adsense , if you have good number of sales / day adsense is abt building traffic no need to worry after that
First of all , You can't really compare them. Adsense pay you per click, while Clickbank pays you per sale. I have a lot of experience with clickbank, and have published several Clickbank Products. In most cases, Clickbank is WAY BETTER than adsense. I have tried both and am speaking from experience, anyone that's saying adsense is better, obviously hasn't tried clickbank. Most clickbank products give you at least 20$ per sale, some of them convert really well, so let's do the math. I was earning pennies when I was doing adsense. The great thing about clickbank is, if you know what you're doing, you could make 60-70$ from only 100 visitors. If you choose a product that converts well, send targeted traffic on it, you could easily get at least one sale from 20 visitors. On the other hand, if you use adsense, you'll make like 1$ from those 100 visitors.
Well I would say Kontera and Adsense are the easy ones. You can run an plugin that ads them to your blog. With Clickbank and CJ you have to manually ad the affiliate links to your posts. But you can make more with CJ and Clickbank.
