Hi,

I have a website http://www.robreviews.com/health-and-fitness.html.... It's been up for a while and has normal traffic however, I need to increase it... any suggestions as to how I can improve my website?
Constructive critism is welcome.

Maybe try to do some guest posts on blogs within your niche, including a link to your site. As long the quality of your post content is good, the majority of blog owners will be grateful for your input as it provides them with content for their visitors.

Posting comments on appropriate blogs is a good technique and you will get some visitors from it but many blogs have 'nofollow' links within comments. Your guest posts will include dofollow links and if you are writing for a high PR site will be invaluable for search engine rankings.

 

Great site. Not sure what your traffic level is currently but you can always use more!

I'd focus on creating backlinks from other health and workout type sites. The 2 best ways I suggest are finding a couple of fitness forums which allow you to post links and blog posting.

For forums it takes a lot of time to find and build a reputation prior to sharing your site. If you just post our site most forum owners will ban you for spamming. But if done slowly and correct it can pay off great.

For blog commenting its much quicker and easier. I would suggest finding dofollow blogs to boost your PR up from 1.

- Change the Yellow Link Font to something darker Dark Blue Maybe? (add a hover)
- Maybe get an IM and say Users can chat to me here...

Nice website. Following are some of the improvement that could be made.

1) The linkcolor could make it darker rather than light color. This will give the reader a better experience
2) PPC ads or banner space could be included at a more prominent place to get you more additional income.
3) Make your front page only display 2 or 3 posts rather than a lot of posts. This will create more pages for indexing which may indirect impact your web ranking.
