HELP! About yahoo! 1.19$ domain name

I just bought a domain at the yahoo! small business, it is said that the total is 1.99$, but i checked my credit card later and found that they charged me 2.99$ (1$ in advance, then 1.99$ as it should be). I've no idea where the heck the extra 1$ came from. Is it some kind of service fee or what? I've already sent an email requesting an answer. Does anybody have the same problem?

one can get only one domain name at that price, for a second one, it's much more expensive then.

i think you'll find that there is a renewal fees i bought a domain name for that price last year just to find out that i was charged $34 for a renewal. if you want to make sure you don't get caught with renewal check your paypal for recurring payments and remove that option then you can decide if you want to renew it on your own terms.

The renewal fee is quite expensive which is $35 after the 1st term.
It depends on the term you choose.
    1-year term: $9.95
    2-year term: $19.90
    3-year term: $29.85
    5-year term: $49.75
    After term expires: $34.95/year

Basically, I just want a cheap domain name, then i'll transfer it to godaddy as soon as i can do that after two months. Hopefully nothing will go wrong after this extra 1 dollar thing
