Please share your comments on roomgator, a hotel price search engine. How would you improve it? Thank you!
Nice and clean site. The layout and colors looks pleasant and I found that, there is a lot of empty space just below the footer section, just remove it.
Love the name, very brandable. You should look into getting a mascot made from one of the designers here. That silhouette gator doesn't do the name justice. I like the clean look, but maybe a very basic box around the main text would look good without overdoing it.
I think the logo is fine...but the name isn't. Also, site needs more heft to it. I think it's a pretty good rip of Kayak's hotel search (same code?). As for the name, it sounds too much like "Fumigator" which if you're talking hotel rooms, isn't a good thing.
The look and feel of the design is good but make sure you cover most of the hotels. Though, it is quite tedious to implement but you can offer a booking facility for these hotels after affiliating with them on your site. Or mabe the booking link on your site takes them to the hotels booking page etc.
