    I say nay.

The man that founded the Weather Channel said in an interview years ago that the climate is not heating up. It has changed less than 1 degree on average over the last 100 years, and measuring devices weren't very accurate 100 years ago. lol

    I think It's real...
Believe it or not...Here in my country...about 10-15 years ago when i was a child, i never heard any lighting kill peoples (again... in my country...) But for the past few years... well... a lot of people died because of lighting strike here (0_o)... It's real... i think this kind of fenomena has to do with global warming...

    Just my opinion here... :p

Yes its real but it isn't entirely man made. There are many reason for climate change and they cant all be blamed on man. We are definitely not helping though. As far as stopping it goes I don't think we will. I think humanity is heading for a hard lesson. Hopefully we will learn and be more conscious of our environment in the future.

If global warming does exist, then I think it forgot my area of Michigan. We were wearing winter coats and gloves outside in the evenings last summer. And this past winter we had more snowfall than the previous winter.

    Global warming? B0ll0cks!

You may have noticed how in the past few months/years the focus has changed from 'global warming' to 'climate change'. Though they can refer to the same thing, global warming disregards the cooling effects.

I've read quite a bit on this, and a lot of experts/mad scientists have stated that the cooling and warming of the earth is a natural cycle. Hence dropping the 'global warming' and changing it to 'climate change' to also count the eventual cooling.

Obviously, you can't ignore the fact that humans have contributed to this change in climate, but our own effect can be called insignificant. I am in no way justifying the inefficient use of energy but just saying that we aren't the main problem.

Those forcing this bullsh*t down our throats just so happen to be corporations that want to profit from this phenomenon.

I'd recommend watching this to anyone who's interested on this topic:

    Yes, I believe it's true issue .
It used to snow every two years here in winter 20 years ago .
Now it seldom snow even in 8 to 10 years .
It is the direct evidence .

I would have to say that I agree more with you. I think that there are natural cycles that the earth goes through and I think that this just happens to be one of them. I'm not saying that were are not contributing to the "problem" but I also think that the earth will go through this stuff no matter what.

And to the guy mentioning the movie "the day after tomorrow" please explain how 10,000 years ago the last ice age was caused, I don't think that humans were emitting anywhere near the amount of green house gases that we are now. So my question is, how was the last ice age, which people believe is a result of global warming, happened with such little influence from human.

I'm just thinking that no matter what we do the earth is going to do what it needs to survive, and I think that it's just going through it's own cycle right now.

I think the temperature is more than before and this is due to global warming.
