Hey folks, This is an interesting one am sure but I am interested to know when I can really put PHP as one of my skills for my CV? What would I have to be able to achieve using PHP to actually list it as a skill? Any suggestions are appreciated!
Depends on where you want to send it ! Someone can ask you to make something and if you'll fail - wish you were never born ( just kidding ).
Well with a CV theres nothing wrong with saying that you have experience with PHP and either hinting at your level of experience on your CV or being ready to give an explanation of your level of understanding of it should you get a call or an interview. But for actually putting on your CV that your qualified, well i guess thats down to at least having one official qualification first. Or possibly a certain amount of time under your belt working with PHP.
I would say you can put it on your CV when you can point to a site that you built in php and demonstrates your skill level.
