    HI ,

Today my site went from PR0 to PR4 . Is there any chance of increase in my revenue? Anybody noticed such a change.

It is just Google's way of ranking the importance of sites.

Well if you are gaining higher PR then your then it obviously is likely to be having improving link development which more often than not will lead to better positions in SERPs which will lead to more traffic which will lead to more clicks... that would be a "likely" increase in revenue.

That said I think the question you wanted answered was "will higher PR produce more $$$ per click..." the often stated answer is No, but I'm personally of the belief that to a degree I think the higher ranked your site is in the SERPs and obviously the greater PR the great perception that Google will have that your site is a quality site and as such they will serve you high paying ads (on your topic of course) rather than the low paying ads, and will also help in reducing the chance of your site being smart-priced. Just so you know I think this improve is marginal... maybe 10 - 20% a most but I do believe that earnings increase with "significant" PR and SERP improvements... just my opinion though and it's not one that is held by many.

No it will not effect you adsense revenue although if you sold your site you would expect to get a little bit more with the PR4 than with PR0.

But wouldnt a higher PR mean you would come higher in search results for your chosen keyword(s) resulting in more traffic and possibly leading into more revenue?

if it's just toolbar pr which doesn't translate to increased visitor traffic, then you'd probably not see any increase in moola...

You may rank higher in yahoo, msn ,and google. I have seen ranking and traffic jump when my Pr went from 0 to 5 on one of my sites. Also my pages were visited by google more frequently and new pages were indexed sooner.

I'm a bit of a lurker here, but will add my thoughts on PR...

I have PR2, PR5 and a PR6 sites... I have tested the same strategy I am using on all three of the PR's... The PR2 and PR5 were lucky to make $5 per day each, but the same stuff on my PR6 is making $150+ per day....

I found no difference with the 2 and 5, but the PR6 definately has a huge impact for me...

I'm trying to get another of my sites to a PR6 to see if that is what has caused the success of the site...

All my traffic is SE traffic, I have no link exchanges or paid advertising... So, I'm thinking you may need a PR6 or higher for it to make a great deal of difference...

    M...

well on the day PR updated my site also went from a 0 to 4, and daily revenue went up 3X .. and has stayed consistent every day since then.

I wouldn't be suprised if google used PR in some sort of way in an effort to serve better paying ads to sites that plan to stick around with higher paying ads. Also if you think about it.. does google want to risk giving a brand new site with no history their highest paying ads, their best adwords customers and risk another click fraud law suit because some guy came online and said "I can get rich with adsense" and starts clicking on his own ads? No they'll wait to serve better ads for at least a few months. Wait to see if that guy is serious enough to stick around with $1 or less per day and continue building links, and his business. If he sticks, has not clicked on his own ads then it's safe to show the better paying ads.

I dunno maybe I'm wrong, but it certainly makes perfect business sense to me.
