Somebody has been telling me that I should buy a bunch of domain names and install Wordpress on them (with autoblog plugin). They say it's child's play to install and it's a win-win situation for SEO. You can make money thru adsense + you bring backlinks and traffic to your main website. Is it true? Is it white hat though?
well it may work..and may not...you have to take some extra steps to protect your blog from being penalized by SE... And yes you can earn once you got PR ..sell links, reviews etc etc
It creates many duplicate contents at all, but if you find a good niche, then auto blog is a good solution.
I also dont know exactly what is autoblogs - but for any blog to succeed you must write original content and thats a lot of work...

earning money has never been for the lazy ones, autoblogging is just dublicate content from rss feeds but if you spin the content and change it to make them unique then it can be a good way to earn because you dont have to create new content by yourself.
phpwnes has already stated this, But you must spin content to make some decent cash. Also if it was that easy, Everyone would be rich! There is alot of hard work and effort required.
It all finally boils down to your preferences...Many people do not subscribe to such methods since it simply means listing the contents of others on your blog which is ethically/morally detrimental to many. But, it is also a fact that many people have been earning a decent amount from such auto-pilot, no-effort job. Unfortunately, I belong to the former camp and so have not tried auto-blogging myself. There are 2 types of 'article writers' out there - those who still 'do it by hand' (you can tell them because their fingers are worn down to the knuckles, and they still live with their moms), and those who make a lot of money using modern tools such as the article wizard in cboss.
Its 100% true! I'm getting around 70-80 uniques/day just from google for one of my auto blog! All traffic is due to long tail keywords!
i have thought about doing this also as i have a few niche's in mind. porn aint allowed though is it!
STOP! dont do it. i have done this and it is not as automatic ias you might think. auto blogs still need alot of work, else there will be no traffic at all.
