    Hi
Thanks, Actually, our prime target is that it will be largest web directory. We have added some new technique that is "Browse By Country". Before submitting any site, this is strongly necessary to inform this site origin of the site. so that any body can locate the site country.

STATBD solicited my comments on the directory.

DMOZ has several hundred editors and many robots to help try and keep its directory free of broken links and fill it with unique content sites. It seems to me that a directory that does not have that sort of support, and I don't think this one does, should cater for a much smaller niche market. Otherwise why should someone visit and view your directory when there are large all covering directories like DMOZ and BOTW.

WE try at DMOZ not to have empty categories because people will work their way down looking and then find nothing. If you are starting a directory you need to do what DMOZ did and 'seed' categories, even if it is with one site, but do not develop a complex structure, no sites and then expect to fill it. Asking for people to offer sites, unless you have a clear idea of which you will accept, means that you will get some jewels but you will receive a great deal of rubbish. You asked me to comment here when you seemed to agree with another poster on the DMOZ thread that DMOZ had poor sites listed and that could reflect badly on good sites in the same category. I would agree the principle, but in general, argue that DMOZ has sites that may not have any page rank, but mostly carry unique content.

That's another decision for you. What is a good site, is it one that has all the modern gadgetry working on it or is it one that carries lots and lots of words or is it one that has high PR or is it sometimes a simple page carrying information not available on another website?

Perhaps therefore the first question is "Why am I creating another directory?" the answer to that may affect how you proceed.
