I need to start a Lyrics related website. I bought a Lyrics database(MySQL) and a script to start my website.

Please guide me which Hosting should I use. Also please let me know what kind of bandwidth and diskspace would be good fo this site

I am looking for the one which does not require too much of technical stuff to populate the database and get the script running.Since i already have the script and database with me I would love to see my website up in a matter of couple of hours.

My domain is registered at Godaddy.

    Thanks in anticipation

    Hostgator or bluehost.

    They both are good enough.

I agree they would be good. For bandwidth it all depends on how much traffic you expect.

The answer depends mainly on that how ambitious you are about your new site.

Presuming the database contains only texts, you don't need much disk space and heavy bandwidth load isn't usually expected for a new domain. So you may decide to save a couple of dollars and get a smaller/cheaper hosting package.

On the other hand if reliability is among the features you want, you'd have a better bet with some reputable hosting company. Hostgator is maybe the cheapest and most affordable of the "big names".

actually, hosting is very competitive topic :) therefore, it will take time until you find the best one for you. I would recommend to choose the one with the best support.

There pretty much are millions of hosting websites. The selection you will make will basically be based on your needs and achievements. If what you want is cheap webhosting or large space, Google that and make your choice depending on results.

Well, the top for me are... HostGator, BlueHost, HostMonster, and MidPhase.

You may check and chose from them. They are the best so far.
