I want to create my own weight loss / health supplement, and I thought there was a place that would let you do it, but I can't remember what it was. Anyone have any ideas on where I could find a place to do this for me?
Maybe it's just my imagination but "health suppliment" sounds so much like spam to me these days. And I honestly doubt that there's much chance to get a reply to your question here on a webmasters related forum.

Don't you have to be a nutritionist with degrees and all sorts to do something like that? with credibility...
If you have an idea - or a product in mind to copy - these guys can help you out with Private Label products(generic) or unique formulations. You can just ad your product name and label. They have the qualifications and expertise. You do need qualifications if you are going to be the face of the product - for credibility. Make sure to check out legalities surrounding the import and/or export though - and what is involved with insurance etc. Best of luck TS
I have ventured into this area before. It really isn't as hard as you would think. Basically, here is how it works... You come up with a formula for your product. Nearly ANY formula can be created. If you don't know where to start, take a look at the ingredient labels on some of the hotter products in your niche (weight loss, beauty, etc.) at the moment. If worst comes to worst, you can take the ingredients from 2 products and use them to make your own new product. Now that you have a formulation, you need to find a supplier that will make it for you. China or other Asian areas are the best for this in my experience. You can either find a company that will make the formula for you and ship it to you or to your bottler, or you can find a company that does everything in-house. I always go with in-house, so that will be my example. Once they create the formulation, they will design (or allow you to submit a design) the label for your product, and include all legal and ingredient print. Then you will select your choice of bottle, capsule, bottle/packaging, and they will do everything for you. The end result is a 100% ready-to-sell product. Then you either ship it to your business/home, or you ship it to a middleman shipping company that will warehouse and ship your products for you. The rest is the obvious... Make sales. It really isn't that hard, and no, you don't need ANY license, degree, certification, etc. to do this. You could bottle this stuff in your home if you wanted.
