Hi ... am wondering how sites, such as Paypal, create the larger favicon image, which includes logo and url. Thanks in advance.

Could it depend on the browser you are using? I have seen a few larger favicons and I see the large one on FireFox. Off to try explorer.

    No large icon with explorer.

Are you by any chance talking about the green tag by the URL on Firefox that shows up if a website has a certificate from, say, Verisign?

default favicon is 16x16 px for all
the green addition in paypal and other site is the result of installed security certificates
hence a matter of $ only
