Google Adsense for Search

Hi Guys,

How much do you get normally on your Google adsense search, you don't need to give out what you actually get. I was only getting somewhere in the range of .25 cent and a lot less per click.
And does your traffic get good CTR?

Is it worth to putt on the search...?

I haven't have the best of fortunes with G adsense search except couple of times where I got over $1 for a click but most of the times it is around .10 - .50 but there is no harm in keeping it there.

 

I normally get a good CPC from adsense for search, but not very good CTR
The percentage of income from adsense for search is less than 5%

 

thanks very much guys for your comments. Now I have a bit more of understanding as to where I stand on the search unit. So if its 5 percent of of your adsense earnings, then it must very low and a not so good CTR. And as you guys mentioned, I only got searches far in between, something like 2-3 times a week.

Would the placement of the search unit be of importance or it may just get your visitors away form your site? Mine was at the bottom or at the top of the page content.

I didnt use adsense for search because i though it was useless in my site.
I've been planning to ask here to understand and know if you will get a great CTR in the site.
Now i know and i understand a lil bit of it.

I usually get less click from adsense for search, but the click's value usually higher than other ads.
