    If you have two websites, then you can try both and make comparison for which stats help you the most.

    Of course I don't include my own visits. I set an IP filter every time I start a new project. Even if I didn't, Statcounter should count me as one unique visitor. The bloating I'm talking about is when multiple pageviews by one unique visitor are counted as multiple UVs. I recently looked at the stats in the first minutes of the day, and saw about 10 UVs, but when looking at the pageload activity, it was really 2 UVs with multiple pageviews.

    I understand this might be because of that visitor blocking cookies, but it's not that difficult to work around this. Filters come to mind.

    I'm using it both.. But if I have to choose between the two of them... Analytics would be my choice..

    I use both. I personally like the exit link data on SC. I havent seen a way to get exit link data with Analytics.

    I swithed from goolge analytics to statcounter. SC is much better for a new built website, it shows more information for webmaster to optimize the website
