What is the best IDE for Java applets development?

    I think JCreator and NetBeans IDE are the best.

    MMF from www.clickteam.com is still in beta with Java but a very fast and effective programming system thats been creating exe files etc for years.

    Notepad++ is also pretty good IDE. It's free and open-source.

    eclipse is the bollocks; don't waste your time with anything else (other than netbeans) - myeclipse is a real time saver aswell if yuo don't have the time to configure your IDE properly
