FTP Client that can do.... Does it exist?

    I know there is a few FTP clients with multi threading which means they can download several files at the same time. Simulating multiply ftp logins from one window.

    But are there any FTP clients that can take ONE file and download it threaded? Like for example GetRight or FlashGet can do from HTTP?

    I get a crappy download speed from my server so when I do backups I usually open 5-10 FlashFXP windows and start downloading. But when I want to download a really big file like a few Gb's large then it take forever.

    Perhaps it is not possible to cut a file in pieces, download it and then put it back together through FTP?

    Anyone knows if this exists or if there is a limit within FTP that makes this impossible?

    I dont think filezilla does that. But If you find one Andy please let us know,cz I am looking for the same thing:(
