This is a very new site... www.tuneme.synthasite.com 3 days before i publish it. so far 5 clicks for 0.01$ from each... please explain me.... 1. how to use an ad filter...then i can filter the low paying ads. 2.any other method that i can increase my earnings per click thanks in advance!
You are lucky. My site has been using adsense for over two months and I am upto $2.34 after having ~5000 pageviews.
It's not the ads. It's Google. You could filter to the highest paying advertiser there is, but those clicks were still going to be .01. Sadly, Google is still the best PPC campaign. It's unfortunate a white knight hasn't stepped up to give publishers such as you and I a fair shake. As it is, I'd recommend keeping your site the same and hoping Google realizes that your clicks are legit and begin giving you 25-30% over time. My opinion is if Google thinks there is any indication your clicks aren't legitimate (or just arbitrarily decides to), they punish you by taking away the money out of your clicks. Then, if you redeem yourself, you can go back to getting 20% eventually. The question I have is does Google charge the adwords advertisers 1 cent or do they just take the entire bid of $2.50 or whatever the price is. I'd bet they just keep it.
The Ad click amount is based on number of factors including but not limited to: - User location - Your niche - Ad location - Ad Type - Post Click activity etc I have got clicks from .01 to $3 but it is hard to predict which Ads pay the more but the things mentioned above, do influence the CPC. Actually, there are 3 types of CPC which you need to look at: - Actual CPC [See Details] - Avg CPC [See Details] - Max CPC [See Details] We only see the Max CPC mentioned on the Adwords tool but Actual/Avg CPC is what you get for your click. So, if a max CPC is $3, then avg could be around $1 and actual could be around $.5 also you need to pay some amount to G as well for their service. To go along with these stats, you have user location, ad location which really dents your earning. I hope this helps.
Thanks, I got approved about a week ago. I haven't gotten around to implementing it on my site yet though.
if you have new site, wait patiently until you will have at least several hundreds views a day. Try to focus on promoting than a revenue... It's my good advice. regards,
earning will depends also on geographic location of the visitors and also by keywords, niche. these are thing to consider in adsense..
what?? why?? thats ridiculously...i make that much off about 1000 impressions. If you have 3 ads on your page it means 2.34 for about 350 or unique vistors. When it comes to adsense, you should be averaging a penny a visitor minimum.
Not from my experience (so far) My stats to date... Page impressions - 5693 Clicks - 11 Search Queries - 37 Search Clicks - 1 Total earned - $2.36
