Do you link pages to themselves? Does anybody know what you're supposed to do from a purely SEO standpoint. I personally don't see the point, but I see that some sites do it, perhaps there's a reason.
its bad seo practice to link itself page, infact right thing is interlink home page with other page and other page with home page.
Don't do it. At least not more than once. There is no proven benefit in terms of SEO, and for the user it's just confusing.
I do link pages to themself as I usually use a menu that is visible on pages, even if you are on the page that you are visiting. Also I often use a linkable path, its called breadcrumble I think, where u can see where you are. For example Digital Point Forums > Marketing > Search Engine Optimization > Do you link pages to themself? All linkable. Its not BAD to do it. So if its handy for users, to see where they are in a linkable path, or if you want to remove the button from the menu once they are on the page, dont worry. Its not needed. But it doesnt HELP anything at all either.
