Is it better to open a new page for the checkout page? For example, buyer clicks buy now button and new window opens up for paypal payment page. What converts better? I just opened an e-junkie account and now the payment/check pages open in a new window. I can tweek the code so that it doesn't do that. Which is better? New window or Same Window?
Actually it doesn't matter which type you use. But from client point of view,pop up a new window solely for checkout purpose is irritating. So,stick with the same window.
Pop up window for almost anything is irritating. If i want it in a new window/tab, I'd do it myself. Just make sure that if you don't pop it up, there's a way to go back easily.
