Blog Contest to promote site

    I recently started a contest on my blog giving away a Digital Camera and a few more goodies. This has got some good response early one. Basically anyone can just twitter about our articles or write a blog post on it to participate.

    Any suggestions on how to advertise this further? I have alraedy added it to 5-6 contest blogs that I could find.

    I am considering doing a similar things, only much smaller scale due to my blog being fairly new.

    It will drive tons of traffic to your site, but your conversions on ads might be somewhat low.

    Write and distribute a PR wire, it will increase the traffic and contestants.

    I would also open it up as a contest here (2nd to last link under "Business") Keep in mind you do need to meet the DP's requirements to post in this section which I believe are 2 weeks as a user and a minimum of 25 posts. Good luck.
