Without guessing, what is the best adsense alternative

Hi

I'm about to startup a wallpaper website very soon and I'm thinking it's probably not going to be a good idea to use adsense on the wallpaper website for ad sponsor.

Without guessing and speaking from having experience with adsense and other ad sponsors, does anyone have any advice as to the best adsense alternative to use?

When I say "best", I mean as high payout as with adsense would have paid out.

nothing better as adsense. Affiliate ads work for selected niche only however pay higher than adsense.

Widgetbucks sucks!! Try adbrite as an adsense alternative..
or if your site gets good amount of traffic and with good pagerank..try to find some sponsors.

 

World surely needs more of these. Especially easy to go out and take wallpapers from other sites then call them your own and try to make money from other peoples work.

Why not build something useful that doesn't involve other peoples work, but work you create yourself?

 

Why are you starting another wallpaper site? The net is littered with millions of sites competing for traffic in that niche... surely there's something you're knowledgeable about that you could leverage to provide fresh, unique content. Just my two cents...

 

The best alternative to Adsense is Yahoo! Publishing Network. However, it is currently in beta and available to US publishers only http://publisher.yahoo.com/

For wallpapers related site, you can try a CPM/CPC based banner advertising network like Casale media. You can see more adsense alternatives here.

Thanks for the replies everyone. I want to deversify my sites, I've created a few websites in quite a few niches. It's time for me to at least test a wallpaper site so I'm going to try it and use adbrite then

 

Think of what people are interested in when they go to a wallpaper site and put up affiliate ads to target them.

Your best bet is YPN. Yahoo Publisher Network and its only available in the US, so until to go beta good luck if you are not in the use or at least based there.

 

If you are a good writer then keep writing on triod who will pay you each month even the amount is less then 1 dollar if you have a payple account. paycheck and western union and other options are also available.

 

casale media has a minimum requirement of 10000 unique visitors per month.

that may not be possible for a new site.

which CPM network would be good for relatively new site?

 

I'm looking for good adsense alternatives myself... I've applied to YPN twice but like many others have yet to hear anything... and I am in the USA...

Tried Netclix but they have some questionable procedures and their follow up and support leaves a lot to be desired... takes forever for them to "approve" your ads (you don't get paid unless they're approved?) and they keep showing unrelated ads so I'm dumping them...

So I'm still in the search for a GOOD adsense alternative... have tried most of them out there but if you're having good results with one please let me know!

 

personally I have found that clickbank works really well. How ever I have been using
<a href="http://pyrabang.com/go/capert69">pyrabang </a>instead these days. You do not make money per click for say but it does pay really well for there service. I have there widgets set up across over 100 of my pages now. With only a few clicks aday I make a nice little fortune vs adsense ripping me off for clicks. I know that they do rip us off for going to one of my sites from a friends cpu clicking on an adsense link then logging in to my adsense acount an hour later at a different location. It shows the click but no money made for it. I also use amazon ads on my blogs which generates a nice little profit as well. Hope that helps

With a site such as this that can be monetized with affiliate products related to the content I would hands down check out Prosperent as an adsense alternative. The next best thing is Kontra which is worth about 10% of what adsense could do for earnings. Adsense is un-competable.

There's also adengage, adtoll, and those junky yahoo ads too.
