Best Way to Check Inbound Links?

As I'm starting my link building campaign, I'm having a hard time finding out exactly which sites are linking to me. I have Google webmaster tools, but that is way off as it says only 1 site is linking to me. Also, the search command link:http://mywebsite.com doesn't show all links on Yahoo Site Explorer or Google (I've heard this is so you can't just copy your competitors links). I can't seem to find any place where I can get a good indication of exactly how many links I have coming in. Can anyone help??

I was pretty sure yahoo shows most of your incoming links, if it doesn't then I've got far more than I expected :p

I have like 84 from google and like 1900+ from yahoo.

Give it time - links will not show up as soon as you make them - search engines will need time to crawl all the links and make sure they are permanent before they use them.

You may also want to try SEO Spyglass which will show you all your links and the anchor texts in them too. PLus a whole other bunch of stats.
