[HIRING] Writer: Cheap, Punctual, Well Informed Writer Needed

    DP,

A client of mine is hiring a writer to work for him -- he will need as many How To articles written (any subject) with a 400 word minimum, and he is looking to pay less than $1 per article. The least expensive offer will be most likely the accepted offer.

At this time, there will be a small delay before the writer can be paid (about a week). As long as the article is quality, it will receive payment; therefore, you will get paid as the writer. Once you get going, you can keep submitting an article (or more) each day, and will soon be receiving payment every day (as long as you keep submitting articles).

Please PM me your contact details, including your MSN/AIM and email. Also, please provide your location (to aid with time zone differences). My client looks forward to working with you.

    Thanks.

Vecel, based on THIS thread and THIS thread, you're a content writer yourself.

Why don't you take your client's $1 and write for him instead?

Geez I think that is crazy. I charge $1/100words, I really think getting paid much less than that is insane. People need to realize that $0.01/word is NOT a lot of money. I guess you get what you pay for though.

TheWriteWay: If you can take the time to look up my threads, you probably have time to write these articles. Anyhow, if you read my threads, you probably noted my charges: not what the client wants.

If you don't like the cost, then why waste your time posting? Please stop spamming my post.

Oh, I took time to review your threads, hence my reply in this particular thread.

You seem like a well-informed writer.

You seem like a punctual writer.

And you already have an established connection with this so-called "client."

    You're perfect for the job!

If you feel that writers are worth $1 per 400 words of well-researched work, enough to actually post an ad on this category, then writers may really be worth that much because, as you have admitted in your previous post, you are a writer yourself and you have an "inside track" on these matters.

Hence, you're also worth $1 per 400 words.

Go accept the job, mate! It's what our hard work is worth, right?

I am completely stunned by this offer.

A translator from Eastern Europe charges at around EUR 0.03 - 0.1 per word. How comes that creative thinking is depreciated to no - money, or simply put - a joke?

Linguistic creativity has nothing to do with charity.
    Regards.

The reason people keep offering a penny per word and less is because people keep accepting the offers. The writers are bringing it on themselves. (Except the ones who refuse and contract their own clients - like me) If nobody accepted these offers, they would eventually be forced to 1.) quit making them all together or 2.) up the ante.

As for OP being a 'writer', what he's doing here is subcontracting some gigs he got and is going to pass them off as his own for a (very) little profit.

I do agree with you. This offer is a little bit… outrageous. I’ll pass by it…

Actually, during my first months in content article writing, a client ask me to write five 400 words articles for $ 1 per article. I was very happy, not realizing how this client is taking advantage of my ignorance. There were even times that she won't pay me because she said her client didn't accept my article. Then i was able to explore more and learn about the standard rate that i should be receiving all this time. :(

Since then i stop writing for that client, but i never have any angst against her. I owe most of my online money making knowledge with her. I already done around 250 ezine article for her, but i never wrote one for me. Just last night i created my ezine account and hopefully i could use that profile to get decent rate that a writer like me truly deserve.
