I agree with you alang, since Inter game the performance is going down... but as you said can Manchester recover from this defeat?
As a manchester fan and a webmaster of a related blog, i think the lads should take it easy. This was a derby match which means that anything can happen during the game. Sir Alex Ferguson didn't start with an ideal formation for this game. I would see Fletcher replacing Anderson. Darren is a tactical player which can benefit the team in these games (BTW i used to hate him ) anyway it was only a game... and to liverpool fans i say: Enjoy this victory..coz at the end of the season.. Man United champions of the EPL..again

It beats me why Ferguson didn`t start with the strongest team at his disposal. How could he leave Berbatov, Scholes and Giggs on the bench then bring them on 20 minutes from the end when it was all too late.

Fortunately it isn`t the end of the title race for United, but bad tactics by United have given Liverpool and Chelsea a boost.

 

Yes it wasn't good performance either but Vidic red card turn the match otherwise United was so closed to get second goal on Anderson's corner. Still we are 4 points clear on Liverpool with 1 game in hand.

But Liverpool's biggest problem is convert 3 points at home where they dropping points and Rafa need to work their if they want a title ( For next season)

 

Well looks like March is giving problem once again as 1997/98. But Manchester United lost back to back matches and now lead might be cut to 1 points if Liverpool win today but only good thing is that Chelsea also drop points so we are still in the race with good lead and I am hoping point drops for Liverpool too as their home records is suggest it. Aston Villa had a good away record and they might stop Liverpool to get 3 points.

 

That game would have been won by United had Scholes not been sent off.

Yes and Race is on now. United have edge as they have 1 game in hand and big matches at home while Liverpool is on hot run and they need to carry good form against weak team where they drop most points so far this season.

Well we need to take 3 points as now we down to no.2 but one good thing which we have is 1 extra game and yesterday Fulham did good job but last min. goal give reds 3 points. Manchester United have good records against Aston Villa in last 10 year. Today United have big problems at the front as Rooney suspended while Dimiter is out for 2 weeks.

 

what a match. Typical Man Utd win in dying minute, but to make it sweet the winning goal was scored by 17 years old Macheda on his debut.

I guess Man Utd is back on track now.

It was an incredible comeback by United to win 3-2. Aston Villa must be sickened by the fact they were 1-2 up and went on to lose.

 

Well it was a game which we want to see and we have history of such a game where we comeback with important wins. I am sure someone who follow Manchester United for long time must be remember 1994 where Steve Bruce scored winner for Manchester United at similar condition for title race and boy from Lazio Academy Macheda made his dream debut for Manchester United by scoring top class goal.

Aston Villa played well but gives too much position at the end and we know if you give space and ball to Manchester United then you have to ready for attack from everywhere which gives United 2 important goals. This win will surly most important win for Manchester United in terms of title race and good to see we did it without key players!

 

That was a great game indeed.

Villa will feel sickened by the result, but there was an air of inevitability about it.

As for Macheda, take a bow son.
