    Hey Guys,

I'm new to this article marketing malarkey and I was wondering whether article marketing will still be a profitable option for my online business without submitting articles to EZA?

I mean there are tonnes of article directories on the interweb so why is EZA so important?

Because EZA is the most powerful of them all, they get more traffic than the other ones and Google loves them. That is why EZA is so important.

If you are just starting out then it's always good to submit to EZA if you want the most amount of traffic.

It's the most popular article directory site, and the articles can get good serps.

EZA is most powerful authority article site and Google love EZA. Articles submitted in EZA ranks well in SERPS if they are well optimized.

    Ok thanks guys!

Its just that I submitted a few plr articles that I took apart and re-wrote in my own words, two were accepted but the third was not due to various problems and i got a harsh email from them and my account suspended until I resolve the issues. They seem to be very strict when it comes to submissions!

I have hopefully resolved the issues with the article and I am now waiting for their response.

Considering that EA is the best article directory, I wouldn't say that you can be successful with article marketing without EA...

You can ABSOLUTELY be successful without EZA.

I get nearly as many clickthroughs from searchwarp.

on EZA your articles either HIT BIG or miss. There is some middle ground, but EZA definitely isn't the end-all. When some people announce that all they use is EZA exclusively, it really boggles my mind..

I don't have that much experience, but as far as I can tell you can double your sales if you do searchwarp, articlesbase, and article dashboard in addition to EZA.

There are basically two different kinds of article marketing. One kind is aimed mainly at direct traffic (this is where EZA excels) and the second kind is aimed mainly at building back links for better SERPS (for this approach I recommend Article Marketing Automation & Unique Article Wizard.)

But I definitely think EZA is the best way to go if you want direct traffic. The other article directories all have one problem or another that doesn't make them as effective. For example: While Buzzle.com articles rank well, they are so strict about the way you can link out of your articles that it's difficult to get much traffic from them.

So, wouldn't it be better to just submit to all article directories that you can?

@Web-Head: yes, and no. Some search engines will penalize duplicate content, and one they notice that the same article has been submitted 1000 times, they might penalize them all - not just the 999 duplicates. That's why people suggest rewriting articles before submitting them.

As long as you do that, I suppose yes, it is worth going for as many as possible.

So, I take it EZA means EzineArticles? If so, I love them! I have had great success with EzineArticles bringing traffic to my website, and my articles rank high in Google and Yahoo.

There are only a few article directories that are worth it.

The first one is EzineArticles for direct traffic, in my opinion the rest are useless and NO submitting to hundreds of article directories is useless.

Submit to top ten that is a lot better.

EZA is number one directory online. Lots of articles from this directory are on the first page of google. There are many webmasters who are making good money by submitting articles to this directory.

I have had good luck over the years writing a unique article and submitting it to Submit Your Article. I then use the Article Leverage Program to create unique versions of it which I submit to hundreds of directories with one click.

I also take one of the unique versions and post it im my blog. Then I social bookmark it using onlywire.com.

Using this strategy has gotten me on page 1 of Google for thousands of unique keyword phrases and has created thousands of back links to my site as well.

It is all about authority, EZ is so authorized by search engines so, when you target a semi particular keyword in the title, it is likely to be 1-3 place in results.
