That all depends upon how much you make per sale and what percentage of click-thoughs lead to sales. PPC is extremely lucrative for many advertisers, but is certainly not the answer for everyone.
If you're just starting with PPC, check out Perry Marshall's Google Adwords guide as a primer before testing anything. Note that I am not affiliated with Marshall in any way...not an affiliate, jv partner, nada. Just recognize that he's got one of the best guides currently on the market to prevent PPC newbies from losing their shirts. Regards, Mike Young www.ProResponseMarketing.com
Since it's free and easy to set up. I suggest just trying it out. As rahulm pointed out it does largely depend on what you are selling. I would however rush straight to Adsense. There is a number of other companies out there that would offer you a much better deal.
For real estate, I don't know. But I know a man in a 3 man company who is spending $75,000 per month on googleads He wouldn't keep that up for long unless it was paying off for his business best regards wiz
When done correctly it is the most effective advertising method because you get customers looking for what you are selling and they are already in the buy cicle, so converting them is much easier.
you only get customers in his buying cickle through search network which in a niche like real estate, could make you pay a lot for each click. if you want to know how to get customers in buying cycle on content network, in which you pay a lot less for each click, take a look to this thread: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?p=11021468#post11021468
Google Adwords is very cost effective. It only takes a $5 deposit to start off your campaign. Start with low bids and work up. Understand that some keywords will have high bids and others low ones. Do not bid too high, although adwords will often adjust this and lower your bid. You will need to watch your campaign very well to ensure it is not going over your budget.
depends what you are advertising and for what purpose. are you collecting leads, branding, local advertisements. there are multiple things to look into prior to advertising on adwords
Yeah, but I don't like the $5.00 deposit, I wish it would be $0.00 deposit, especially on April Fool's Day.
PPC is definitly the most cost effective method amongst all advertising systems. However if you are just interested in driving traffic to your site...you can try PTC system. (That is only for getting traffic and not for targeted visitors).
I wouldn't call ppc cpste effective at all. You can get traffic and sales from many places without spending a dime.
yes its cost effective. but you should combine it with seo work. ..and eventually try to lower your ppc costs as your seo campaign starts to pay off.
