    Hello friends,
    I want to buy a good mobilephone within 20,000 INR.

    Till now i've used only nokia [s60 and nseries].

    I've also ipod touch so i dont want iphone.

    Wifi is must and better if 3G facility is there..
    My usage will be for all possible functions.. music, video, games, books, softwares... I'm an intern so better if more medical utilities are available for it..

    I'm more interested in PDA.

    Can you suggest me good mobilephone/pda?

    Rightnow i'm stucked between either nokia 5800 xpress music or HTC touch diamond.
    Diamond is good?which one u preffer among this 2?

    U misunderstood my question. i'm not asking among mobile or pda, but i'm asking any among mobile or pda.

    in n series any other better phone in my price range?

    yes. nokia 5800.. i liked it..anyone used it? is it good? shd i pay 19,500/- INR for it?

    rightnow i'm thinking to buy among nokia 5800 and htc touch diamond. any other better mobilephone/pda in ur mind? other nokia nseries phones better than this-nokia 5800?

    whioh OS nokia 5800 has? will i have mostly all app & games which are available for n70,73 etc?

    You can get all the Details Abt Any Phone here ..for 5800

    i will never suggest you to buy N79 , it is good for nothing ..seriously.. nothing is Soo good about it other than the design(many say its keypad is crap) .

    iam also looking to buy a phone in the 18K range

    after 2 months of research in all dark-corner places of the internet i narrowed down to two models

    1) is N82
    2) is 5800

    i dont prefer slide or Flip ,i use my mobile very hard.. also i prefer Nokia as my 6630 was ran over by a Car(two wheels) and it didnt even turn off !!!:eek:
    i was expecting it to be broken into pieces

    abt 5800 - its is entirely new OS same as N97.. very less applications
    its Camera is quite bad than N73. Main drawback is NO Multi Touch !

    Very Big Screen,Browsing is a pleasure,sound quality is above average.. Standby time is Very good
    Memory - Its comes with 8GB card

    in the other hand N82, launched in 2007.. Supports so main Apps
    3D Graphic Card,128MB ram,Dual RM 11 processor
    Main Advantage for N82 is its Xenon Flash and Support for Ngage Games
    build quality is very good,2.4inches display.design is ok
    Memory - Its Comes with 2GB Card i think

    now i'm confused between htc touch diamond - nokia n82 , nokia 5800..but more towards htc and nokia 5800..

    do u know..medical dict and games like asphalt available for 5800?

    You can also go for Nokia N95.:rolleyes:

    It has 3G and Wi-Fi.

    ANd also a nice phone. Double slider ! :)

    It's not officially released in india yet i think..so unofficially price is high here..around 750USD.

    any reviewes and expected date of release in india? as in us it's price is affordable and if reviews are good, i'm ready to wait for htc g1.

    I recently bought N79 and it's a great great phone..
    symbian s60 3rd edition.. you will find lots and lots of applications and games that will amaze you..

    5800 is s60 5th edition - now many applications till now but in future there will be more..

    n73/n70 runs on s60 2nd edition.. outdated.

    i know n70 and 73 are quite older now but my question was whether they are/ will release app which are available for n70-73 till now..as plenty of app for n70-73..

    and which one do u preffer among nokia 5800/n79/n82?
    5800 is better?
    anyu memory problem like in n70-73..e.g. message memory full or restart etc after full usage.

    there are more applications for s60 3rd then any other operating system... bcoz s603rd phones like n80, 82, 79, 96, 95, 85 are quite/very popular...

    s60 5th is new version - 5800, n97 etc..
    5800 - nokia's first step into touch screen, so consider it as an experimental model.. also 3.2 mp camera compared to 5mp of n79...

    have you considered Nokia E71? It's got excellent functionality as a phone and as a web browser, nice camera. The battery standby and talk time are good.

    And best of all it fits perfectly into your price range :D. as far as i've checked it's about 19000 ...

    but which one do you preffer? specially among nokia 5800 and htc touch diamond? i'm more interested in these 2 only. N79,82 and 85 are good but i like 5800 and touch diamond more.
