I recentelly saw a video on youtube with ads on it! How can I put ads on my own videos? Everyone can do that or only a few "speccial" users?
There are 2 kinds - the in-video ads, and Adsense for video (which appears inside of a frame surrounding the video). The 2nd one can be done thru Adsense. I'm not sure about the 1st method since I don't use Youtube to upload videos, only watch them. All I know is that their guidelines are really strict, the video cannot have anything trademarked in it (such as, being a clip from TV in any way, or using copyrighted music) and it has to be your creation/ownership.
Everyone can do that. Well... almost everyone, you must live in United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Japan, Australia, Ireland, Germany, France or Brazil. You can read more about this for example on YouTube Partner Help Center.
you can use youtube script for free to do that a lot php script free to do youtube video ...good luck pm for the link thanks
You Tube is why I started Adsense. I had around 60 videos and was getting quite a lot of views. Here is a typical example of how you have both ads within the video and to the side- (add the first bit yourself) youtube.com/watch?v=nkxuX9r7zsI . If they accept your application to be a partner you have to follow YouTube rules very strictly and submit each video for approval. You can't just steal content from the news like many people do. You can't even include music unless you own it or have proof of permission. I find I get lots more clicks than with Adsense but the pay rate is quite low.
Thanks for that info John - never knew that about Youtube... guess I won't be accepted into that program, like ever - heh...
