Need word press help PLEASE My blog is ntwaice.com I have the theme in BUT permission problems trying to edit my word press theme this is what it says when I go to edit the home.php page: You need to make this file writable before you can save your changes. See the Codex for more information.. can anyone help
Did you look at the Codex? http://codex.wordpress.org/Changing_File_Permissions If 644 doesn't work, then CHMOD your theme files to 666 (I think...). EDIT: Here's a nice guide that I found on..... wait for it.... Google http://www.themelab.com/2008/04/11/how-to-make-wordpress-themes-writable/
Yea just CHMOD then to 666 or 777 and that'll work....see google on wat is correct to modify it...666 or 777, bcz 777 is not safe, 666 is ok, but 666 might not work properly than 777 so better you go for 666 and leave 777 but use 777 if 666 doesn;t work... OMG, all i;ve been telling u is 666 or 777 Hope you understand what i wrote

Yeah, for about 60 seconds. I accidentally changed the permissions on the theme directories as well as the files... what can I say, it's been a long day. Probably gave him the fright of his life All fixed now @ TurnkeyMaster - when you've recovered from the shock, and come back online... once you're finished creating your theme files - you should change them back to 644.
