    Check them through copyscape. Take the article and put it on your web site or blog and cut and paste it into Copyscape.

    You can run them through Copyscape but you will have to pay the fees to ensure that the text, rather than the link where the text can be found - hope this helps!

    or simply copy a few sentences and paste on Google.com search with quotes ("")

    e.g. "Copied sentences here" and hit search. if you found a result there, then I am sure the content is not unique.
