Site resubmission

Is it beneficial to resubmit your website to Google or does Google frown on resubmissions of websites to them. If I search in Google for my web site by name, I do see that my website is indexed by Google.

I am looking for way to be proactive and I would like to resubmit my sites to search engines if that would not penalize me. What do you folks thinks?

There is no need to resubmit your website to google search. Your website is already indexed in google and resubmitting will not help anything.

Submitting your website is completely useless. Build quality back links and google will index your site on their own.

Submitting your site doesn't work. Just build back links and do link exchanges.

Link exchange. They are the best to start with. Try to exchange links with PR 4-5 web sites, and if you gather enough of them, it will boast your page rank totally. Get listed in directories as well.

Your site already read by google.if you want to reindex your site again doing link exchange ,directory submission and social bookmarking. Google updated your site itself.

It would be beneficial to submit a sitemap if all your pages aren't showing up in google, this will tell google exactly what your pages are so they can index them. If you see yourself in google then there's no need to resubmit, google already knows about your site.
