As most of you know, Squidoo provides a good subdomain for lenses using ever.com I recently made a lens "Worst.xxxx.ever.com", made a lens, published it. And apparently squidoo thought it'd be cool to give me: squidoo.com/worst-xxxx-ever Does anybody know why this happened? I did it for the convenience of the domain, and now it doesn't really have any keyword value to it. Thanks.
With EVER Project lenses, both the URLs you mentioned should work and lead to the same page. And even if you type in the squidoo/worst-ever address, once the page loads, the worst.ever address should appear. See this example below: http://best.website.ever.com/ http://www.squidoo.com/best-website-ever
Go to the control panel and select your domain you want, the squidoo.com/worst-xxxx-ever is by default, hope this helps
@ Think_Big Yeah, that's what I thought at first but apparently not. When I go to worst.xxx.ever.com it just takes me to a "Welcome to Squidoo!" kind of page. @ freebiefinder I was looking around, I can't find where to do this. Any more help would be appreciated. Thanks!
Did you build your page starting from here? http://www.ever.com/ If not, try that and see what happens. I know Squidoo were having some trouble with the lens magic builder recently and have been taking steps to fix and improve it.
You could try posting in the help section of the SquidU forum. Someone there might be able to assist you.
