You code every single page over again? Probably it is a static page, so you cannot talk about coding then really. The only thing you charge is design, and it depends how good you are and how fat is your clients wallet.
I charge my real world clients a MINIMUM of $1500 AUD for a website (design and coding) regardless of whether it's 1 page or 100. The price goes up from there.
It depends on several issues. If you are a freelance webmaster, you will make people pay less than if you have a company, co workers... And it also depends on the complexity of the site you are creating. If it is a static html page, its another story than a flash website or a mysql based site. If it is html, I would say anywhere between 500 to US$ 1000. Flash: make it a good $2000.
I would say it depends upon the design which you may require, i would like to quote as per the complexity of design and codes. for a normal 5 page website, $ 500 to $ 1 k is good enough.

It also depends on the customization or special scripts that have to be created. I charge $5000 min, but that comes build from the ground up a search engine friendly site, and some other advanced goods, but no SEO service at that level. I'm surprised to hear ppl are charging so low for their services.
