Is your site still indexed by google? Do the site:mysiteurl.com prompt and see if you have been penalized, if not then just get a few links and you'll go back to the top. Good Luck
have you recently made any changes to your site? title, meta tags, etc? how long has your site been "missing" from the rankings you previously had?
Rankings will always fluctuate. You should concentrate on is creating in-demand content and building links to your site. If you keep doing that then your rankings will return.
it can be because of updation in google data center just wait for some time then check again you will get your rank back

Hi, Once your site is ranked on top it will not be there for ever... the rankings keep on changing as and when new lists are released... It would be helpful if you work on the contents of your site (keywords, meta and all) and try to develop links for your site... the links definitely helps a lot in promoting the rank... hope this helps you out... regards sripat

As all of us knows Google gives better rank to website by counting Quality Backlinks and when we use Digg or Stumbleupon to socialize our site, website is listed at Upcoming page or It's homepage but this type of backlink will be not available after few days as Social Bookmarking sites moves their data and replaces it.
