Hi, I require somebody to help me with the following. I have written a wordpress plugin that when installed will display my link in the footer of a website when installed. I need someone to encrypt the plugin so that if a user deletes the link the plugin deactivates. Can anyone help me. I will be writing more plugins also so it will be continuous work. not saying i am right, but wordpress is open source. i dont think you will ever be able to do this using wordpress. you could write a function to check if the text is still their but someone could easily remove that check as well. i never seen a php file encrypted either.
You can encrypt your main php file with phpshield but I don't know if it's allowed with open source products.
You can encrypt it, but you will quickly find that users will go to another plugin that does something similiar if you do. Don't waste your time trying to hide your link: there is no reason too.
