Automatically Post RSS Feed to Twitter - Unique Site. Mad to miss!

Note: This auction will be sticking to exactly how I say it will. A few people got irate last time I did an auction as I closed it early, this will not be happening this time around.

TweetMyFeed allows for users to take a standard RSS or XML feed and then input there username and password for twitter. The system will then convert the RSS feed to tweets and post them automatically on the users account. What good is this? Well there are several reasons someone might want such a feature.

First webmasters could post there site feed to twitter, making it easier for people to follow what the webmasters is up to, 2nd it vastly increases the speed of which you will get new followers! I posted the BBC RSS feed on my twitter account and instantly (literally near enough) I got 5 new followers. Each time a post is made you will find more people following you.

I know some might see this as a one page site and wonder why bother, but behind this one page is plenty of great code! And I am even willing to go as far as promise that this will be a success. To what degree is the question!

why did it post a bunch of entries at the same time, shouldn't there be like one entry per day?

Micheal, Yes after the first bunch it would then post them as they are posted. It's because what it does is scans for new entrys, in the first scan it finds more than normal, then after that it would do it normally. There is an option in the confi to edit that, you can have it so it only posts the first x amount when addin a new feed. No bin at current I'm afraid!

 

I'm working on a big addition to the site at the moment, tracking of stats.

OK! Just got around to adding what I class as a big feature! Now if a user signs in with there twitter details after a few posts have been made with the system they can check up on stats. For an example of this sign in with:

It's extremly easy to manage. So such admin panel, but if you wish I can code one. Although there is letter to manage. It all runs and moderates itself!
