Browser problems???

    Hello everyone. I have created a new CSS template for my site and I'm having a couple problems.
    1. In IE the sidebars do not align to the top. The center main content does but sidebars are a little lower.

    2. I have changed the background color in the top row of all my tables but in FF it does not show the background color. IE does but FF does not

    Any help would be appreciated.
