I was just doing some work on a blog i recently setup when i noticed a gay dating ad! Are this kind of ads allowed at adsense/adword? I really dont like this kind of ads on my blog. It doesnt even has anything to do with the content  If it is allowed is there anyway to stop this kind of ads poping up my websites with adsense?

Yes, dating sites are allowed to be advertised through Adwords. You can add the URL of the site to your competitive ad filter in your Adsense account

Unfortunately there's no way to do that, other than making sure you don't have text that might trigger those ads.

One of my sites about businesswomen was getting a bunch of "find brides from Asia" type ads and I had to block them one by one. Eventually they vanished altogether, so it may be that those advertisers switched keywords (?).

I get this from time to time. It's a little frustrating when you get them, especially when your site is not related to this sort of thing. You are lucky you do not use adbrite - they are full of ads like this.

It's actually quite fitting if you think about it.
