Huge Number of Page Impressions Today

Anyone have the same situation. My page impressions went high to the sky.
They have risen for more than 100%?

 

Mine still maintain and considered normal to me.

Mine are 4 times higher than normal.

I think it started 2 days ago, because my stats before yesterday was slightly higher than normal. Yesterday it was really big. Overall clicks and earnings are on par however.

 

I also noticed a lot more impressions on adsense from yesterday to today. I went from 17.000 to 52.000 impressions in one day. The only thing that happened is that CTR dropped and the earnings remained the same.

I do not know what is the reason... Maybe google changed the way of counting impressions?

Does anybody have any idea?

 

I also increased my page impressions and earnings, but CTR and eCPM dropped!

 

Still experiencing this one too. Well I guess it's better than the other way around, increasing CTR drastically.

 

My site saw visitor numbers drop by 60% but earnings are still the same. Sometimes I even earn more than I used to.

 

So earning increased?

 

I have been getting large numbers of page impressons (around 1,000 plus) from a particular site of mine but the CTR is a bit disappointing, only about 4 clicks. What should I do to improve this?

 

I do have the same experience. My Impression is increased by 100%, CTR is dropped by 50%, eCPM is dropped by 50%, earning is still within the range (normal). It's just started yesterday, and today, at 06:00, the page impression is almost 50% of the normal day. This will be as high as yesterday.

 

Today, is no normal day! More speed in Clickings!! Is it today ADSENSE DAY!!!

 

Page impressions are going wild today!!! I just noticed now... I usually have a CTR of above 4% and today now it's at 0.73%!!! The number of page impressions is not correct...

 

Ohhh Soo bad. First i felt any of my sites visitor put my site at any other BIG site and visitors are coming from there. Feeling SAD to see its Google's problem.

 

Page impressions increased by 40% yesterday. It seems that all the increase comes from my biggest site. The page impressions had been normal until later afternoon yesterday.

If you have more than one ad unit on a page, the Google used to count one page impression for a pageview. I think the Google count N page impressions if you have N ad units on a page since later afternoon yesterday. That is why somebody experiences 100% - 400% page impression increase but no earning increase and lower CTR.

I don't like this change. Hope the Google will switch back to original counting method.

i have less page impression but my CPC is very good.i am getting 1$ per click.i need some help in getting users.i am getting good income from my Mesothelioma blog.

 

Hmm.... I wonder why I have not seen any fluctuation in page impressions.

I agree too. Maybe google has changed the method of counting page impressions. They seem like adding impressions from all the Ads units, and this boost the number of impressions.

 

i am also facing the same problem i got 500+ Page Impressions per day and hardly got 5 to 9 clicks and $0.60 per day how can i improved my adsense report as well please give suggestions.

 

Yeah it is possible, those are just for short time bursts. They will come down eventually. probably may be due to bot traffic.
