Capped Earnings Maybe?

    Hey folks,

I have to wonder sometimes with Google being so secretive with their payouts. I often get the feeling it does not matter how much traffic you get Google will always pay a very similar amount always.

What I mean as an example, you can be earning around say $10 a day quite consistently but then if you manage to double your traffic it is not reflected in your earnings.

Does anyone else have any thoughts on this one?

I suspect the same in terms of clicks. My sites vary in clicks in a range of 10 or so clicks every day, but the total I make per day conveniently comes to around the same amount (of course with some good days and bad days every once in a while).

Nonsense. If you double your traffic and your visitors are not interested in clicking your ads (ads not relevant, not blended, not placed well), then your earning won't change much, if any. If you aren't earning money on your site it means your Adsense ads are not of interest to the type of visitors you get, or that they become disapointed in the site long before they see the ads.
