    Well, Im not paying too much attention to Alexa Rankings.
    SERP is where I focus more.

    It's not the same.
    Having the Alexa widget on your page will ensure that each visit is counted. Yes, I am repeating myself, but nobody reads back more than one post, obviously.

    "Why would putting this widget on your page help your rank increase, IT WONT"

    IF YOU USE YOUR BRAIN

    Alexa Ranks your site on traffic, How can they estimate your traffic?

    1. Toolbar (Through the toolbar they can see that a user has visited your site, Therefore = Traffic)

    2.The WidGet, I cant say 100% that this widjet does increase your rank, But im atleast giving a reason to why I think it would.
    Each time its loaded, Alexa is delivering the widget to the users IP, Alexa sees that the widget is loaded so counts it as a User, Which = Traffic.

    Use ur brains.
