I cannot come up with a good personal finance related domain name. Thay seem to be all taken..! Any help is appreciated. If possible PM me the domain name so that i have a chance to register it or someone might just snoop it...!
Rather than getting someone to do your work for you, with no financial gain to themselves, why don't you think about offering a reward to someone doing this for you? I'm a pro domain name searcher and keyword researcher, I know the subject inside out, but I'm blowed if I'm going to assist someone who just expects a potential valuable list of available .com domains in any particular business niche, without receiving some compensation for my time and labour and expertise. My personal rates start at £22 per hour for this service, which in U.S. currency, give or take is about $30 per hour. Something like this should take about 2 hours on average, so my fee would be around $60 for which not only would you receive a good list of available and potentially valuable .com domain names but also I'd recommend to you the best one to use for SEO purposes that would attract good traffic to you. Expecting this for free on demand though mate, not on your nelly. Why do people expect to receive everything for free these days? You value your own time, your potential business, so render that same respect to others too. If you think their time is worthless and their expertise too, what does that say about your own business?
Well I agree that time is the most valuable commodity here. I did some research and like a few domains but nothing good enough to book it. I will research for some more days and then look for professional help.
I am in the same market as you. I have finance websites as well as a few domain names. I sat there one day and typed in all kinds of combination of names to find the domain names that I wanted. You may want to check out Sedo.com or Godaddy auctions and type in the type of keyword you are looking for as most are already taken up. I have a few available, PM me if you are interested.
I dont leave domains, when i see potential in them, but in a good mood, so here you go... Financification.com = Finance + Specification That means a website which provides information and specifications on finance And its brandable name as well, it is available....go get it before someone else grabs it. Good luck.
guys thanks for the suggestions here and also the PMs...I will let you know if i end u using one of these.
find the best finance related domian name thats already taken and then add 'e' in front of it. so personalfinace.com would become epersonalfinance.com. works a charm everytime.
A tip for you, since a lot of the advice in this thread so far is so far up the creek, it's unbelievable. Go to the Google External Keyword Tool first, don't adjust any settings, type in a Keyword, for example: Finance Look for a two or three word long tailed keyword that has over 500 searches per month, the higher the number the better, next go to your domain registrar search box and type in the long tail keyword, to see if the domain is available first on the .com, then the .org and finally the .net - then go to Google and put in the long tailed keyword in the Google Search Box and find out what the competition is, that is, the number of other sites competing to use that long tailed keyword. The lower the number the better, under 200,000 and you'll get the first page on Google very quickly. If you have to, put hyphens (dashes) inbetween the individual keywords to increase the chances of getting the keyword domain that you want to use with potentially the most traffic. Hyphens will actually stand you in slightly better stead than a non hyphen name. Hyphen names are perfectly ok for development purposes. Next when it comes to promoting your site, don't bother with the low quality writing standards here on DP from non English speaking individuals charging a cent a word or less, you get what you pay for. Use VEO on your website (visitor experience optimisation) - Google it if you don't know what it is. Next for your articles use latent semantic content / indexing, use the right tools and you'll get your site indexed and totally whitehat, you'll have your site for your chosen long tailed keyword domain, indexed and on page one of google within an hour or two literally. Do not use a brand domain as suggested above, you'll simply make your SEO hard work and a lot more expensive and you won't get on page one of google very quickly at all.
I like using the dash method. You can pretty much get any domain you want with a little tweaking. But I would suggest using a domain name with only one dash in it, otherwise it gets more forget-able.
