    If a seller does not include a link to their site in the first post (tinyurl is fine, if they want to protect it), I will immediately press the back button and move on to the next listing. No PM to ask for the domain name, no message in the thread to request the URL, nothing.

    While I might miss a good site or two, I'll avoid wasting a huge amount of time on what is likely to be a scummy site.

    Good luck to sellers who stupidly avoid giving us the most basic piece of information necessary to sell their site.

    Using tinyurl is no longer allowed on this forum, but there are other ways to prevent a domain name from being indexed in a sale, such as attaching the name in an image, or adding symbols or spaces in the name itself. Basic info such as url, revenue and asking price should always be given in the opening thread.

    I agree, the website must be included in the thread, in fact he is not protecting his site because will ask for a PM in general those interested to see what sites are making money, they are not interested to buy.
