We originally purchased and ran a different script on the site in April of 2006, but it has grown immensely since August of 2008 when we completed revamped the site. After we revamped the site we have not promoted this thing at all except for some posts in a few webmaster forums and some social bookmarking. Other than that all backlinks and traffic sources have been helped by other webmasters blogging or linking to the tool. It has grown to be one of the most popular blog and ping tools on the internet rivaling pingoat and pingomatic. In fact, based on many of the reviews out there on different webmaster related forums and blogs pingler is considered more reliable and better than the rest as we offer the most ping services with a single submission. Our site also has the ability for users to add more services to their submission if they know of more reliable ping services.

The script running the site is completely custom coded by us and is completely unique to the site.

AND this is based on very little promotion on our part, just think of the possibilities if you promoted this heavily.

Revenue Details: We have not really focused on revenue for this site much as our main goal was originally to have a nice ping tool for ourselves, but then realized that it would be nice to offer a free service better than what is currently out there. That leaves A LOT of room for further monetization. We have incorporated adsense and have some stats to show for that, but we haven't really spent anytime with testing ad placement or using other advertising methods as we basically just setup the site and let it do it's thing. Truthfully we have too much on our plates at the moment to focus on the site properly. The site has also received about $190 or so in paypal donations. We are actually looking for offers at the moment and only have a price in mind that we wouldn't sell it for less than because of what we know we could do with it if we just held on to it and spent some more time on it. Unfortunately we do not currently have the time.

Just make an offer and we can go from there.

As for server requirements the load is actually very small. We run it on a reseller account that costs us $50 a month, but we also have about 100 other sites on it as well.
