Web-based file sharing software

    The problem; a company wants to share CAD drawings and other document information with their partners over the Internet, using a web based system. Each user/partner may have a slightly different access levels to determine which files they can see.

    We'd rather not code this software ourselves, as it will extend the production time of the site much further, so I'm wondering what software is out there that can do this? We don't mind paying licenses for it.

    Software like sharepoint is one option, or you could set the site so that users can access content via FTP, and then use differentiated access to different folders.
    And I'm wondering if Google Docs or other web based free services like that couldn't help...
