    White Hat SEO does not always have to take more time if you know what you are doing. I agre the results are more permanent but I have got a website on to page 1 of Google (for example) brfore the website was even completed and then it dropped for a couple of weeks only to return even stronger.

    Now that was a customers site and I have 1 example of my own site that attained Page 1 results for pretty much everything I targeted it for and I kept checking waiting for it to drop after it got online and attained the search results but nothing ever realy changed much and now to this day after nearly two years the results are still there on page 1.

    The site never had any loss as such at anytime and just continues to get more and more page 1 results - so forget black hat is my advice - read the SE's guidelines use White Hat and reap the rewards for doing so.
