I have my main index page listed in that box with line atop: "List your allowed URLs, one per line" starting with my main site (no http or www though). Here is the problem - I have alot of sub pages within my site ending with .htm that have AdSense and I tried adding those sub pages but when I click SAVE CHANGES, I get a red note atop the box stating: URL must not end with a path Has anyone else experienced this problem, and if so, how would I remedy this? I have quite a few of these pages ending in the .htm prefix and don't think the clicks on those ads are being recording or credited to my acct. For instance I noticed before 2AM eastern time I checked my day's earnings which were just over $10 and this morning I checked early a.m. and noted I only had $9.70 worth of earnings recorded. (???)
hmmm....try ommitting the ".htm" also make sure there is no slash at the end of the url: for example: write www.yoursite.com, NOT www.yoursite.com/ write www.yoursite.com/page1, NOT www.yoursite.com/page1.htm
SiteMan: GREAT to try but DID NOT WORK. Here is one of the pages so you know what I am trying to do: http://www.danscartoons.com/automobile_cartoons.htm Thank you though, I appreciated your input.
no... "URLs" means domains or sub-domains. if you have a site with 1000 address, your not going to add them all,all you add is just like their example. unless your afraid of someone using your code or is trying to get you banned, there is no reason to use Allowed Sites.
Holy Cripes Zode....that is good to know and actually you set the record straight because I thought it was an absolute necessity to put any of the URLs you have ads on, in that box! DUH on me! I need a checkup from the neckup! One question then, should I just delete everything I have in there? I mean what's the use? Some idiot at a biker site has my pub id in his adsense code and I am writing to him about it, otherwise, all of this was good that I brought up. Lemme know about whether or not to leave those URLs in there.
no problem. you just add the domains that you own that have adsense on them. if you know a site that is using your code without your permission, email adsense, weather or not you use Allowed Sites and tell them about it. i would use their email address and not the contact form.
