To build up 500 websites, it's a huge task, but it's surely exciting if they are all bringing in good money to you.

 

500 is huge. you'd need an army to be ensuring quality content on them and updating them regularly. wouldn't it be better to have 50 (phew) and focus on them entirely, better content, etc etc. unless we had an army of course

Guys, i know we all need and want money, but i think people are missing the reason why adsense works.

Pages dont bring adsense $, interested visitors do.
You need volume of visitors (read an interesting website) to make adsense money, not 1000's of pages.

100k$ might sound like allot of money, but you want to be getting that every year right ? Build for viewers / surfers , dont build for adsense.

For me too it's an old article. But, I think the plan can be realized with you work harder and if you have a little money to invest !

It's definately possible to make this much money with adsense. We've only just started promoting these types of sites and have had success. However to do $100,000 per year would likely take 3-4 years to implement, unless that is all you worked on. I am pretty certain that no one has ever gone from $0 in adsense to $100,000 in adsense within a year unless they had websites that were all ready receiving tons and tons of traffic.

That formula will work with just about any scenario, it's just math. However, whenever you throw the variables into the mix, like 'getting visitors' cost of marketing, hosting, etc....it's really hard to turn that profit that's promised. lol

That may well be for a commoner with a common point of view.

On the other hand, I donot believe that it is difficult at all.
Pareto's Law teaches that one has to follow the 20% view,
not the view of the majority.

 

I don't think the hardest part would be creating the 500 sites (although that in itself would be a lot of work), the hardest part would be managing them and doing all the seo work to keep them in the top of the serps. It is a pain in the a$$ submitting my one site to directories, writing aritcles, doing exchanges, posting in forums, etc. How could you possibly do this with 500?? I get tired just thinking about it. It just wouldn't be my cup of tea, I need to have a life and spending it 24/7 in front of a computer just wouldn't be worth it to me.

Hey, my luck, I would finally reach the $100,000 mark and google would ban me from adsense the next day and it would all be dust in the wind.
