Every couple weeks or so I get one of those random pms that says "pm me your site", or pm your links, or something of that kind. I buy/sell stuff all the time, so without any reference to a thread, or more detailed info I have no idea what these people mean and usually just ignore them. Some people think they are so naturally obvious they don't ever need to explain anything. Or that I only have one site and just start one sales thread every 3 years /rant Does that happen to you too here?
Yep, it happens.. normally people do not post the reference, so it turns into confusion.. its quite creepy to reply to that message with "WHAT SITE?"
Giving little information in the thread will spark more replies from interested members and this in turn will contribute to the length of the thread
It happens to me although I don't really sell stuff here that often so usually they'd pm me for the link or site I know that I have only 1 thread open right now so it should related to the thread... although I can understand your situation it is quite annoying at times
I am guilty of pm-ing ppl with no reference thread. But i have learnt my lesson the hard way by getting 'What are you talking about replies' and getting banned by posting in the thread..
yup, it happens to me from time to time or someone will offer money for something without even a link to what they are buying..lol Or if I'm checking something out in the BST area, and ask a question, they'll pm me with something like (you can BIN for 50$) and again, with no idea what they are talking about. I guess some think we just drudge the forums and are eagerly awaiting someone to reply to us..lol
