I need to learn this skill set and would like to know what method is the best in your opinion?

Where is the best (Specifically) place to learn the details of how to use this method correctly?

Is it possible to get 200 hits per day just starting from scratch using your favorite method?

What's your best success story using B.U.M. marketing (Without blasting to a list please)

    Thanks in advance!

Article marketing can be a big boom if you can crank out 20 articles of around 400 words per day. I can't say that I have done it but I know marketers that have and have had good success after a short period of time.

Just create 2 articles per day and submit it to ezine articles or buzzle.com
Make sure you do your keywords research properly with Google keywords external tool
In one month you can get that 200 hits per day

    - each article should be optimized for a keyword phrase
    - good keyword phrases are usually 3 words, sometimes 4 or 5 words
    - your keyword phrase should have less than 30,000 competitors in google when put in quotes. Ideally less than 10,000.
    - avoid huge niches because you will find too much competition e.g. weight loss. You could use a sub-niche but this is hard work in my opinion.
    - put the keyword phrase at the beginning of your title
    - the rest of the title (you can use a dash to separate) should be enticing to click. Question marks work well
    - put the keyword phrase also in the first sentence of the article.
    - don't concsiously use the keyword phrase anywhere else in the article. The days of 3% kw density etc. are long over. There's no need to overdo it in this way.
    - submit to ezinearticles, it's just not worth submitting anywhere else IMO.

I've never really tried doing articles, but I keep seeing it being emphasized here. I guess I just never knew what I should write an article about in all honesty. I appreciate the tips everyone.

It is article marketing, not bum marketing.

The best way is to first have your articles critiqued. Ask family, friends, coworkers, board members...

Once they are good enough, submit them to content sites, like, MSN, Askmen, Yahoo, About, and as many of the smaller sites that have a decent amount of traffic.

It's the only way to see good traffic. Article dumpers, with the possible exception of ezine, and maybe one more, are pretty much useless.

Use compete.com to see how many hits they, ROUGHLY get each month to determine if they are even worth contacting.

The mores sites that carry your articles, the more readers you will have.

You'll have some articles that are a complete bust - either you won't get many clickthroughs on your signature file to your website, or the people that come through might be freebie information seekers and not targeted buyers. And then you'll have some that convert great. So the key is not to get discouraged and to crank out tons of articles.

In my opinion though it's smarter - and you'll generally get better mileage out of it - to post original content on your own website or blog instead of forcing the reader to visit ezinearticles first and then hoping that they might click on the link to your site. There are a lot of distractions at ezinearticles with the adsense ads and stuff that they run - lots of excuses for people to ignore checking out your site.

I usually do 1 article per week on ezine after doing a few campaigns with a full group of people writing articles etc. The whole reason I do it is for SEO reasons and not for click-through because you will get little to no traffic. Ezine hasn't been ranking as well as usually lately either which makes it hard.
